Occupational Therapist School Setting - Long Beach, CA

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a rewarding school-based contract position located in Compton, CA. This role supports students across a K-12 caseload and requires on-site service delivery. The position is available ASAP and runs through the end of the school year, with possible renewals for summer and beyond.

Location: Compton, CA (On-site only)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing academic and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of students functional abilities.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school district protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment for students.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification.
• Experience working in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of K-12 student developmental milestones and therapy practices.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively with educators and families.
