Occupational Therapist School Setting in Roxbury, MA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful role supporting students in a K-12 environment during the Extended School Year program. This contract Occupational Therapy opportunity is located near Roxbury, MA, offering the chance to make a real difference for learners this summer. The assignment runs from July 6, 2025, through August 7, 2025, with a steady weekday schedule—thirty hours per week, six hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications And Preferred Experience

• Current Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably across K-12
• Background in ESY (Extended School Year) services is strongly desired
• Safe Care Certification is preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, administrators, and support staff
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted OT interventions for K-12 students throughout the ESY term
• Assess and address student needs using individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain clear, timely records of progress and services provided
• Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
• Adapt therapy approaches to fit diverse learning environments and student needs
• Promote safe, positive student participation aligned with Safe Care practices
