Qualifications And Preferred Experience
- Current Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably across K-12
- Background in ESY (Extended School Year) services is strongly desired
- Safe Care Certification is preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset to work with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Deliver targeted OT interventions for K-12 students throughout the ESY term
- Assess and address student needs using individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain clear, timely records of progress and services provided
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
- Adapt therapy approaches to fit diverse learning environments and student needs
- Promote safe, positive student participation aligned with Safe Care practices
