Occupational Therapist School Setting in Joliet, IL

Two Occupational Therapists (OTs) are needed for school-based contract positions in the Joliet, IL area, supporting students across multiple elementary and early childhood settings. These opportunities offer full-time hours working directly with children to support their developmental and educational goals.

Position Details

First Role:

• Cover two non-concurrent leaves at elementary schools
• Work full-time (35 hours/week)
• Begin at an elementary school in bloomingdale (District 93) until May, then transition to another elementary school in Glen Ellyn (District 41)
  
  

Second Role

• Support early childhood classroom students
• Full-time schedule (35 hours/week)
• Located in Glendale Heights (District 16)
• Note: An offer has been extended for this role but is not yet finalized
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with school-based experience
• Skilled in school OT practices and supporting elementary and early childhood populations
• Ability to adapt to multiple settings and work full-time hours
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
  
  

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to student needs within school settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on educational goals
