Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arlington Heights, IL

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support students within a school setting for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time position offers 20 hours per week, working with a manageable caseload of 15 students. The role will take place in Arlington Heights, IL, providing specialized therapy services to help students achieve their developmental and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the needs of students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall support of student success.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in school settings.
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to design and implement individualized therapeutic programs.
