Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bristol, CT

With a start date in late August and ongoing need through November, you’ll support students in reaching their educational and developmental goals throughout the district.

Key Qualifications

• Current, active Connecticut Occupational Therapy License (required)
• Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage a district-wide caseload
• Ability to travel between schools as needed
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
  
  

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and direct treatment for students, both individually and in small groups
• Develop and update IEP goals in collaboration with school teams and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations related to occupational therapy interventions
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success in the school setting
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation to ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
