Occupational Therapist School Setting - Fremont, CA

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide support in an elementary school setting in Fremont, CA. This role offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours, serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of TK-8 students
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student development
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with ACOTE standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Current ACOTE accreditation required
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
• Ability to design and implement effective therapy interventions for diverse student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  

Position Details

• Location: Fremont, CA
• Grade Levels: TK-8
• Hours per week: 20-40 (flexible for part-time or full-time availability)
• Typical daily schedule: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm or 8:15 am - 3:45 pm, dependent on assignment site
• Caseload size: 30 students
• Contract duration: Full semester
• Interview availability: Friday between 9:30 am and 11:00 am
