A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available at a school located in Saratoga, CA, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role supports students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, providing specialized therapy services to enhance their functional abilities and participation in the educational environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments of students occupational therapy needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Providing direct OT services for approximately 8 hours per week, scheduled over two days (around 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure as required by the state
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with TK-5th grade students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
