Occupational Therapist School Setting - Broomfield, CO

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An Occupational Therapist is needed for a part-time, contract position in Broomfield, CO, serving K-8 students in a school setting. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite supporting a diverse caseload with a focus on enhancing student development and participation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K-8 students in the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Support students in improving their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary and middle school students
• Strong understanding of educational and developmental needs of children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Location:

• Broomfield, Colorado (Onsite work only)

Schedule:

• Part-time, 12 hours per week
• Contract duration: August 13, 2026 May 20, 2027
