Responsibilities Include
- Delivering occupational therapy assessments and individualized interventions tailored to students' needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop appropriate therapy goals and strategies
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing professional insights
- Adapting therapeutic techniques to support accessibility and inclusion in the classroom
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with a specialization or experience in school-based therapy
- Familiarity with educational therapy practices, IEP processes, and school regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop creative approaches to support student engagement and participation
- Prior experience working in schools or educational settings is highly preferred
