Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an OT (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working within K-12 school environments highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills for team-based approaches with teachers, administrators, and families
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Adaptability to meet the unique needs of students across grade levels
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring in line with students’ IEP goals
- Provide both direct and consultative services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other specialists to promote student participation and achievement
- Consult with families and provide strategies to support students in both school and home settings
- Document assessments, treatment notes, and report progress in a timely manner
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development and revision of IEPs
