- Support students fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities to ensure active participation alongside peers
- Modify tasks or classroom environments to accommodate individual student needs
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate
- Prepare clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and peers to address student progress and highlight areas needing additional support
- Current Illinois state license or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
