Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate specialized neonatal equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records.
- Adhere to hospital policies and infection control protocols.
- Provide education and support to families of NICU patients.
- Current, active, and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience required.
- Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts (7:00 pm 7:00 am) including four weekend shifts within a 4-week period.
- Dress code: scrubs of any color.
Schedule/Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts, 12-hour duration
- Four weekend shifts per 4-week period required
- No blocked scheduling
