- Ensuring strict adherence to pharmacy procedures, SOPs, and all state and federal regulations
- Overseeing quality assurance programs and implementing policies and procedures
- Reviewing physician prescriptions for appropriateness and legality
- Managing the supply, storage, and labeling of medications to ensure safety and prevent expiration
- Preparing medications with accurate dosages tailored to individual patients
- Leading and motivating the pharmacy team to meet productivity and operational goals
- Maintaining a visible, hands-on presence on the pharmacy floor, participating in staffing as needed
- Licensed Pharmacist in Virginia with license in hand (essential for immediate start)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in long-term care pharmacy, preferably with leadership responsibilities
