Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing support for neuro IR patients undergoing minimally invasive vascular procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during complex interventions to ensure patient safety and optimal care
- Monitor neurological status meticulously, utilizing NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments
- Document patient care accurately using CERNER electronic medical records
- Participate in rotational call, weekend, and holiday coverage according to departmental scheduling
- Adhere to hospital policies and dress code requirements
- Active and clear RN license valid in New York State
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in neuro IR nursing or cath lab/radiology settings
- Prior neuro ICU experience is mandatory
- Proficiency with NIHSS assessments
- Experience with Cath Lab or IR procedures highly valued
- 40 hours per week
- 10-hour shifts
- Rotational on-call, weekend, and holiday duties required
