Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed to support students from Kindergarten through High School in Cambridge, MA. This position is a contract role covering a maternity leave, beginning April 13th, 2026, through the end of the school year. The role offers flexibility with hybrid scheduling options and is open to full-time or part-time candidates.Key Responsibilities:Provide in-person occupational therapy services to students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade, as well as high school and kindergarten levels.Evaluate and treat students with diverse needs to enhance their functional participation in the educational environment.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and program effectiveness.Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach supporting student success.Qualifications and Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings.Familiarity with pediatric populations across multiple grade levels, from kindergarten through high school.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to adapt to part-time or full-time hours and hybrid scheduling arrangements.Location: Cambridge, MA.This opportunity provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on student development while working within a collaborative school environment.
