Deliver critical care in a fast-paced emergency department serving up to 440 patients daily. This 48-hour night shift contract position operates on a 4x12 schedule (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Flexibility to float between Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED (patients age 15 and up, unless you have prior pediatric experience) is essential.

Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years recent experience in Level I or II Emergency Department settings and/or 2 years recent experience in Level III/IV ED
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, identify heart blocks, and pass a Telemetry Test scoring 85% or higher on Day 1
- Current and unexpired certifications in TNCC, BLS, and ACLS
- Preferred: Experience with EPIC electronic health records, prior travel assignments, and critical care expertise
- Manage patient care at a 1:4 or 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, depending on acuity
- Collaborate in a highly active emergency department with 120 treatment areas
- Adapt to shifting departmental needs by floating to Psychiatric and Pediatric ED units as required
- Provide expert assessment, triage, and emergency interventions to diverse patient populations
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation, adhering to all hospital protocols
- This is a contract role with supplemental pay at 7%
- Travelers assigned will not be placed in trauma rooms during this assignment
