CVOR RN in Perry, GA

A Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specialization is needed for a contract role in Perry, GA. This position involves caring for patients undergoing a wide array of surgical procedures in a facility recognized for its Level 1 Trauma Designation, teaching excellence, and specialized centers in chest pain and stroke care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care in 20 operating room suites and 2 cystoscopy rooms.
• Support patients through diverse surgeries including general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures such as open heart and vascular surgeries.
• Utilize advanced technology such as EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication systems, and Phillips monitors.
• Participate in weekend call rotations and holiday on-call requirements.
• Comply with the hospital's safety, teamwork, and inclusion standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a General OR setting; 5 years preferred in CVOR.
• Active RN license with BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, with graduation from an accredited program.
• Ability to work 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am shifts, with a 6-week scheduling cycle.
• Willingness to engage in orientation and ongoing training.
