Solar Installer / Crew Lead – Detach & Reset
Storm season just hit the Valley and our schedule is full. We're hiring experienced Solar Installers and Crew Leads now, with immediate starts.
Solar Detach & Reset removes residential solar systems before a roof replacement and reinstalls them after the new roof goes on. Steady, year-round work across the Phoenix metro.
Pay:
- Installers average about $45,000 per year
- Crew Leads average about $62,500 per year
- Paid weekly, no cap on earnings. Top producers make more.

What you'll do:
- Detach and reset residential solar panels, racking, and wiring
- Crew Leads: run a crew on site and own safety, quality, and getting the job done right every day
- Install and replace racking, flashing, conduit, and components
- Complete job photos and notes in Housecall Pro
- Communicate with homeowners and roofing crews on site
- Work safely on all roof types, including tile, shingle, and flat
What you need:
- Hands-on residential solar installation experience (1 year for Installer; 3 years plus crew leadership for Crew Lead)
- Comfortable working on roofs; able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Must live in the Phoenix metro area (in-person role, based in north Phoenix, 85086)
Nice to have:
- Tile roof experience
- Roofing or electrical experience
- Enphase / SolarEdge / Tesla system familiarity
- OSHA 10
- Bilingual English / Spanish
