Event Bartender

As a Bartender, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar. Whether you're serving handcrafted cocktails, recommending wines, or keeping service flowing during a busy reception, you'll help make every event memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

· Deliver exceptional hospitality by providing friendly, professional, and attentive service to every guest.

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.

· Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with Arizona liquor laws.

· Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while working closely with fellow staff to ensure seamless event service.

Bar Operations

· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each event.

· Complete opening and closing side work, including setup and breakdown of the bar.

· Prepare garnishes by cutting, slicing, and peeling fruits; mix juices and stock ingredients based on projected business.

· Label and date all perishable items and properly store refrigerated products.

· Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, refrigeration units, storage rooms, and service stations to meet health and safety standards.

· Remove trash, empty boxes, and recyclables promptly and discreetly.

Inventory & Equipment

· Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies.

· Assist with inventory counts and ordering when requested.

· Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and ready for service.

Cash Handling & Compliance

· Accurately process guest transactions; handle cash and credit card payments responsibly.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

· Comply with all Arizona liquor laws and company alcohol service policies.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

· Positive, energetic, and passionate about hospitality

· Professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy

· Knowledgeable about liquor, cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service

· Familiar with bar preparation techniques, food safety standards, and proper service etiquette

· Previous bartending experience preferred

· Previous serving experience is a plus

Pay & Schedule

· $25.00 per hour, plus tips

· Typical schedule: 8 hour shifts, 1-4 events per week, depending on event bookings

· Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
