Desktop/Hardware Deployment Specialist
Location: Onsite (Clinic Locations)
Duration: 4 months extensions
Work Schedule: 7 – 4 or 8 – 5, candidates should also be available for swing shift 1 – 10pm as needed (advanced notice will be given)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Desktop/Hardware Deployment Specialist to assist with hardware setup and deployment tasks across various clinic locations. The current project will be setting up 200 PCs during the day then evening work to install the PCs in the clinic locations after normal business hours. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and capable of performing tasks independently, as well as collaborating with teams. The position involves a variety of responsibilities, including assembling and installing hardware, computer imaging, asset tagging, and managing on-site computer exchanges. Flexibility in working both day and evening shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Unbox and assemble hardware such as barcode scanners, carts, and related equipment.
Tag and document hardware assets to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Image computers and prepare them for deployment.
Perform on-site computer exchange services, including setting up new computers in clinic areas (may require evening work).
Manage and organize cables for optimal workspace setup.
Collaborate with IT teams and clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective hardware deployment.
Essential Skills:
Experience with hardware assembly and deployment.
Knowledge of computer imaging processes.
Strong attention to detail in asset tagging and documentation.
Basic understanding of cable management and hardware setup.
Flexibility in work hours, with the ability to work evening shifts.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
