Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Cyber Intel Business Support Specialist for a contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients.
This role is hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
The main function of a Business Support Analyst is to lead the day to day design, development, testing, enhancement, and deployment of the application software solutions that support the client's enhanced cyber and third-party risk intelligence capability. This role directly contributes to strengthening market resilience by building and maintaining systems that identify, assess, and share actionable intelligence on cyber and technology risks impacting member firms and their vendor ecosystems.
Responsibilities :
Works as an independent contributor that takes the lead for ownership of the CORE platform by taking high-level requirements for cyber threat intelligence systems and producing applications that support our mission to protect investors and ensure market integrity
Responsible for research, planning, estimating, designing, and ensuring customizations and integration components for CORE's intelligence platform that meets business needs for early threat detection and member firm collaboration
Design and continuously improve the cyber intelligence solutions include the user interfaces for intelligence sharing, and member firm integration
Lead the delivery of timely, targeted, and actionable intelligence to member firms for incident prevention and response
Prepare communications to member firms and other constituents regarding cyber threat intelligence, vendor risk assessments, and systemic technology risks where appropriate
Validate that scheduled jobs for threat monitoring, dark web scanning, and intelligence processing execute properly and in a timely manner to ensure continuous market surveillance
Develop ad hoc queries and reports to analyze cyber threat patterns, vendor dependencies, and cross-firm risk exposures based on CORE intelligence sources and enterprise systems
Identifies ways to streamline cyber risk intelligence processing and build efficiencies into threat detection workflows, improving intelligence delivery and tracking through end user computing applications that enhance our collaborative regulatory approach
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Five years of relevant work experience required, preferably in cybersecurity, financial technology, or regulatory technology environments
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational and communication skills essential for handling sensitive cyber threat intelligence
Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Word for intelligence reporting and member firm communications
Experience with third party and threat intelligence platforms that support threat intelligence sharing
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced regulatory environment focused on proactive cyber threat detection
Strong commitment to collaborating with our members and support of our Forward initiatives
Understanding of or willingness to learn about cybersecurity threats, vendor risk management, and financial industry regulatory requirements
