Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an AI Developer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Sports/Entertainment clients in New York City NEW YORK .
AI Developer About the Role We're seeking an experienced AI Developer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a self-guided professional who thrives in fast-paced, project-based environments and can seamlessly bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technologies and practical application development. Responsibilities :
What You'll Do

• Design, build, and debug Python applications leveraging large language models and AI frameworks
• Engineer effective prompts and workflows to optimize LLM performance across various use cases
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate AI capabilities into production systems
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment with tight delivery timelines
• Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and adapt solutions accordingly

Required Qualifications Technical Skills:

• 5 years of professional Python application development and debugging experience
• Proven expertise in prompt engineering and LLM optimization
• Deep understanding of different LLM types, their characteristics, and appropriate use cases
• Strong proficiency with Pydantic for data validation and settings management
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as Langchain and/or CrewAI
• Practical experience with AI-powered code engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Gemini CLI)
• Experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure
