Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
- Participate in special events such as banquets or themed nights as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; familiarity with cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques to promote beverages effectively.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Cash handling experience is required for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of brewing processes or specialty drinks is a nice-to-have asset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
