Top-Tier Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking an Underwriting & Portfolio Analyst (Project Finance) for a long-term, temporary-to-permanent position!
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head of the Team and Portfolio Manager in managing the existing loan portfolio
- Support relationship managers in drafting credit applications, performing credit analysis, and conducting commercial due diligence
- Ensuring compliance, risk management, and internal controls
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence in compliance with bank requirements
- Function as a deal-closing coordinator and prepare necessary paperwork
- Assist relationship managers in credit analysis tasks
- Prepare KYC reviews and reports
- Assist portfolio manager in portfolio-level monitoring
- Assisting with Post Disbursement Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and analytical skills
- Experience in credit reasoning, credit writing, and financial modeling
- Experience in KYC due diligence and banking operations
- Prior banking experience, ideally in a commercial bank
- 1-5 years experience with Project Finance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $35 - $45
