Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent & Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

What You'll Do
Leadership & Teamwork
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
- Train and instruct greenskeepers on proper cleaning and safe operating techniques
- Support coworkers and assist other departments when needed
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines (oil changes, filters, etc.)
- Maintain and repair hydraulic, electric, and mechanical components on all golf course and club equipment
- Inspect, sharpen, and adjust cutting units, reels, and mowing equipment to ensure top performance
- Prioritize repair and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently at all times
Administration & Communication
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
- Order and track parts, supplies, and equipment expenses within budget
- Communicate daily priorities and updates with the Golf Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant
- Experience with Toro MyTurf software is helpful but not required
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in the winter snow removal schedule (starting at 4:30 am)
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High School diploma or GED (preferred)
- Technical training or certifications in mechanics, small engine repair, or related field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience maintaining and repairing equipment or machinery (golf course or landscaping preferred)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and organized
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regular exposure to mechanical parts, oils, fumes, and outdoor weather
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and noise
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Work may involve vibration or risk of electrical shock
