Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and responding promptly to inquiries or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area by cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and food handling surfaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth beverage service and quick customer turnaround.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred, especially with barista duties involving coffee preparation.
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong skills in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and math are essential for accurate processing of payments.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is required to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Previous experience in beverage service or drink preparation will help you excel in this energetic role.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
