What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Sno bubble tea?
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Manage time effectively to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
- Work during the day, Flexible schedule, full time preferred.
Skills:
- Strong math skills, including the ability to perform retail math calculations and handle cash transactions accurately
- Proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system
- Seeking person with management skills preferred and very responsible. Can work alone during slow season.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide assistance to coworkers when needed
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices in the food service industry
- Previous 1 year experience in the food industry or as a Bobarista is preferred but not required
-Must own a car for transportation.
