What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Snider Blake?
QC Inspector This role trains on 1st for 30 days.
Essential Duties - There are typically 2 associates in QC, one that goes out to the lines to pull parts for inspection and quality check and the other to do the measuring of parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Measuring process performance using common gages, surface plates, measurement instruments and CMM
- Record data and process necessary documentation
- Communicate to the press line and supervisors
- Assist supervision in troubleshooting process problems
- Clean, organize and maintain work area(s)
- Determine whether a process is in or out of statistical control by analyzing data patterns (runs, trends, hugging, etc.) and identify actions to take in response to findings
- Read and follow work instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints
