What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Fund Operations and Accounting - Private Credit position at SNI Financial?
SNI has been retained by a prestigious investment manager to find a VP of Fund Operations and Accounting - Private Credit to oversee the reporting and administration of the firm’s private credit funds and work closely with operations and the business. These funds have experienced rapid growth, and this position will lead a high performing accounting team and work closely with investment professionals
What you'll do:
-Advise the business on complex accounting implications and fund structures related to private credit
-Manage a team of Fund Controllers and closely collaborate with Operations
-Build models and dashboards to manage fund liquidity
-Negotiate credit facilities
-Ensure the integrity of investor reporting
Requirements include:
-14 years total experience with at least 6 years in progressive leadership roles managing teams
-5 years of private or distressed credit fund accounting experience is a MUST
-Experience structuring funds, negotiating credit facilities, and building dashboards or models to manage liquidity
-CPA preferred
