SNI has partnered with an exciting company in the Frisco area that is looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client offers a great culture, a hybrid schedule, 3 weeks of PTO, a 401(k) match, and other excellent perks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain and analyze the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with financial statement preparation and supporting schedules
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and documentation
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial results
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Participate in special projects such as system enhancements, reporting initiatives, and process automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience (public accounting or corporate accounting preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
