I'm partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed distribution company in Irving that is adding a Senior Accountant due to an internal promotion. What you'll be doing:
• Prepare and analyze journal entries and general ledger activity
• Perform account reconciliations and month-end close responsibilities
• Manage complex cash application activities
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Support multiple operating locations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with process improvements and ad hoc projects
We're looking for candidates who have:
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA progress is welcomed
• SAP experience is a plus
• Experience with inventory, distribution, manufacturing, or wholesale environments is highly preferred
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and desire to grow within an organization
Compensation: Up to $105K base plus excellent benefits.
