Director of Finance And Operations

I'm partnering with a growing technology infrastructure services organization in Dallas that is creating a newly established leadership position due to continued expansion of its data and services business.

This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and offers the opportunity to serve as the financial bridge between Accounting, Operations, and Project Management. Location: Dallas, TX (West Mockingbird area)

Compensation: Up to $120K base 10% target bonus

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading job costing and project accounting across services and manufacturing operations

• Serving as the financial partner to Project Managers and Operations leaders

• Driving project profitability analysis, budget reviews, and cost management initiatives

• Developing and monitoring operational and financial KPIs

• Supporting invoicing processes and project-related cash flow forecasting

• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies

• Helping accelerate close processes and strengthen financial reporting capabilities

• Leading a small team while maintaining a hands-on approach to the business

Ideal Background

• 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience

• Strong experience with job costing, project accounting, contract accounting, or engagement accounting

• Manufacturing, infrastructure services, telecom, construction, engineering, or professional services experience preferred

• Ability to effectively partner with operational leaders and influence decision making

• Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to dive into the details

• CPA preferred but not required

• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience
