What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Fund Accounting - Private Credit position at SNI Financial?
SNI has been retained by a prestigious investment manager to find a VP of Accounting - Private Credit to oversee the reporting and administration of the firm’s private credit funds. These funds have experienced rapid growth, and this position will lead a high performing team.
What you'll do:
-Advise the business on complex accounting implications related to private credit
-Manage a team of Fund Controllers and closely collaborate with Operations
-Ensure the integrity of investor reporting
Requirements include:
-14 years total experience with at least 6 years in progressive leadership roles managing teams
-5 years of private or distressed credit fund accounting experience is a MUST
-CPA required
-Public accounting experience is preferred (a Senior Manager out of public accounting with experience auditing private credit funds will also be considered)
