Controller – Multi-Concept Restaurant Group
Up to $150,000 base plus 10–15% bonus plus comprehensive benefits
We are partnering with a dynamic, multi-concept restaurant group that is expanding nationally and seeking a Controller to play a pivotal role in scaling its financial operations. The Role
As Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, internal controls, and technical accounting while leading a growing team. This role requires a mix of technical depth and hands-on leadership to manage multi-entity complexity and support decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations
- Lead ASC 842 lease accounting, fixed asset tracking, and capex modeling
- Support integration of new units and concepts into the portfolio
- Maintain strong internal controls and partner with external auditors
- Analyze P&L variances, expense trends, and rolling forecasts
- Drive ERP and reporting process improvements
- Mentor and develop accounting staff
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 5 years of accounting leadership in multi-unit hospitality or restaurant corporate environments
- Strong technical skills in ASC 842 lease accounting and consolidations
- Experience scaling accounting operations across multiple units
- ERP proficiency (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) and advanced Excel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, growth-oriented environment
