Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: Virginia Beach, VA – Hybrid
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: October/November 2026
Pay Rate: $55–$65/hour or so (negotiable depending on experience and technical background)

 

Position Overview

SNI Technology is seeking Full Stack Developers to join a growing technology team supporting secure, business-critical applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer who enjoys working across the full application stack, solving complex technical challenges, and helping shape development standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#, .NET, React, RESTful APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server, along with a solid understanding of modern software development and DevOps practices.

This position will also play an important role in the organization's adoption of AI-assisted development tools, using technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to improve development speed, code quality, debugging, testing, and deployment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful services and APIs.
• Build scalable front-end and back-end solutions based on business requirements and application designs.
• Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Develop applications and integrations across multiple platforms and environments.
• Design and maintain database-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and identify effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT professionals to establish and maintain development best practices.
• Evaluate application performance, responsiveness, usability, and reliability.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging development technologies and identify opportunities to improve the organization's technology environment.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools to assist with coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and DevOps activities.
• Mentor less-experienced developers and contribute to technical direction and development standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of professional web development/programming experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • C#
  • React
  • .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 5–8
  • ASP.NET Web API
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • Entity Framework
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2017
  • DevOps / CI/CD
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end application architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases and database-driven applications.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to understand how technical decisions affect business operations, application performance, and the end-user experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.

Salary : $60 - $70
