Construction Administrator – Preconstruction / Estimating Support

We’re partnering with a growing General Contractor in Jacksonville to add a Construction Administrator who will primarily support the estimating and preconstruction team, with some backup support for project billing.
This is a strong fit for someone who has worked in a GC/construction environment and understands bid coordination, proposal development, construction documentation, and project billing/compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the estimating/preconstruction team with bid coordination and proposal development
- Assist with preparation of bid documents, bid packages, bid tracking reports, and related documentation
- Help gather, organize, and track information needed for proposals and preconstruction deadlines
- Maintain organized and compliant project documentation
- Serve as backup support for project billing, including review of Certified Payrolls and subcontractor pay applications
- Use Viewpoint Spectrum for billing/tracking as needed
- Communicate with internal teams to keep bids, proposals, and billing documentation moving accurately and on time
What You Need
- Experience working in a General Contractor or construction environment
- Hands-on preconstruction, estimating support, bid coordination, or proposal development experience
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and terminology
- Experience with project billing, subcontractor pay applications, or Certified Payroll review
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Nice to Have
- Government or federal construction experience
- Davis-Bacon / Certified Payroll compliance exposure
- Viewpoint Spectrum, RMS, WAWF, or similar construction software experience
