SNI Companies is partnering with a rapidly growing company in the Minneapolis area to find an experienced Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle in a collaborative, small-company environment while making a meaningful impact on the organization's financial operations.
This hybrid position requires working onsite 1–2 days per week. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks experience and a background in the food and beverage industry, particularly with cost and inventory accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full general ledger and monthly close process
- Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Perform cost and inventory accounting and related analysis
- Develop and present monthly financial analysis and reporting to the executive team using advanced Excel
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes
- Assist with audit preparation and support external auditors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or similar accounting role
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks (required)
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and create executive-level reporting
- Experience in the food and beverage industry strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and fixed assets
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
