Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver visually appealing meals
• Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety standards
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
• Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
• Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting, demonstrating strong food preparation skills
• Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
• Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and cooking methods across various cuisines
• Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and catering is a plus
• Excellent food industry knowledge with a focus on quality control and presentation standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
