Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver visually appealing meals
- Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and dish execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting, demonstrating strong food preparation skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and cooking methods across various cuisines
- Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and catering is a plus

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
