Salesforce Technical Project Manager

SMX is seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to support Client/CBP's Enterprise Cloud Customer Relationship Management Platform (ECCRMP) program. This is a required Key Personnel role supporting Salesforce platform governance, Agile delivery, release coordination, production support, stakeholder communication, and modernization activities.
The Salesforce Technical Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional Salesforce teams, manage project execution, facilitate Agile ceremonies, track risks and blockers, support delivery planning, and maintain alignment with CBP program priorities. The role must be able to operate in a federal environment with disciplined reporting, change control, and stakeholder communication.
ResponsibilitiesAreaResponsibilitiesAgile DeliveryFacilitate daily scrum/project meetings, sprint planning, backlog coordination, and delivery tracking.Project ManagementManage task plans, milestones, schedules, risks, action items, and deliverables.Stakeholder CommunicationCommunicate clearly with senior Government stakeholders, COR/program leadership, and technical teams.Cross-Functional Team LeadershipCoordinate developers, architects, release staff, analysts, and support resources.Production SupportSupport production release planning, deployment coordination, migration activities, and issue resolution.Risk / Issue ManagementIdentify blockers, remove impediments, escalate risks, and maintain team productivity.Governance SupportSupport reporting, meeting documentation, program status, quality processes, and CBP governance activities.Required QualificationsRequirementDescriptionExperience Level for PricingSenior level, 10.0-14.9 years experience basis.Salesforce / Cloud DeliveryExperience managing Salesforce or comparable enterprise cloud platform projects.Agile Program ManagementExperience managing full lifecycle Agile delivery.Technical Team LeadershipExperience leading cross-functional technical teams.Production DeliveryExperience supporting production deployments, releases, or modernization/migration efforts.CommunicationStrong written and verbal communication with senior customer stakeholders.AvailabilityMust be available full-time for this contract and attend kickoff.LocationMust be local/on-site capable; CONUS remote only if approved.Preferred QualificationsPreferred ItemDescriptionPMP or PgMPProject/program management certification preferred.Federal / Client / CBP ExperiencePrior Client, CBP, or federal civilian IT support preferred.Salesforce ExperienceSalesforce Government Cloud, Salesforce platform support, or Salesforce release governance preferred.ToolsJira, Confluence, GitLab, ServiceNow, Agile delivery tools preferred.Security / EligibilityU.S. citizenship should be treated as required for Client IT system access unless the Government grants an exception.
