BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to support their pharmaceutical client in Indianapolis, IN.
Expected Duration: 9 months with possibility to renew
Location: Indianapolis, IN/hybrid
Position Summary
Our client is implementing a modernized Global Medical Information Contact Center platform ecosystem.
We are hiring a Project Manager to own the day-to-day technical execution of this program across five integrated workstreams: CRM build, Data & Integration, Genesys contact routing, AI / Med Info Bot, and Reporting. The PM is accountable for phase-gated delivery against a baselined schedule, scope, and budget; technical dependency management across vendors and integration readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Phase Execution
- Drive end-to-end technical execution of Release 1 across the full project lifecycle —Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Cutover & Go-Live, and the three-week post-go-live hypercare period — with formal entry and exit criteria at each phase gate.
- Partner with 3rd party engagement leadership to build and maintain the baselined integrated master schedule (work breakdown structure, milestones, dependencies), manage critical path, and surface schedule risk early enough to act on it.
- Run technical program cadence — weekly status and phase-gate reviews — and operate formal change control for any deviation from baselined scope, schedule, or cost.
- Track schedule performance, scope, deliverable completion, and defect trends against the delivery baseline.
Cross-Workstream Technical Coordination
- Coordinate technical delivery across the five workstreams
- Hold a single register of cross-stream technical dependencies and drive them to closure ahead of each phase gate.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Support the ACE Technical team with 3rd party delivery leadership to hold them to scope, quality, and schedule commitments under the work order.
- Coordinate client contributors across functions; clear blockers, broker decisions, and keep the right people in the room at the right time.
- Prepare and run technical steering updates; translate phase-level status into executive-ready risk, scope, schedule, and budget narratives.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
- Maintain the program risk and issue register; drive mitigation for technical, integration, and data-governance risks across deployments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 8 years managing the technical delivery of enterprise software programs
- Demonstrated experience leading programs with a Tier-1 systems integrator (Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, PwC, or equivalent) at $5M scale, including baselined master schedules and formal change control.
- Track record managing integration-heavy programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management across business, IT, vendor, and affiliate-country audiences; comfortable presenting to executive steering committees.
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
Salary : $130,000 - $140,000
