Role Overview
We are seeking a Workday Test Lead (Client-Side) to support a critical Workday implementation. This role will focus on test strategy, quality assurance, and validation, ensuring the solution meets business, compliance, and technical requirements.
The ideal candidate will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and oversee integration testing, ensuring seamless data flow across systems and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Deliverables & Quality Assurance
- Review vendor-created Test Strategy, Test Plans, test cases, and results
- Validate integration designs and configuration plans for quality and alignment with business requirements
- Ensure configurations accurately reflect business processes and objectives
- Develop and execute the client-side Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Create detailed test cases and scenarios, including edge cases and error conditions
- Manage defect tracking, resolution, and retesting
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate testing across teams, environments, and systems
- Validate interfaces, integrations, and data flows
- Troubleshoot integration issues using Workday expertise
- 4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Translate business requirements into test scenarios and technical validation steps
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, HR, and business stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 4 years of experience testing Workday implementations
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Payroll
- Proven experience developing end-to-end (E2E) test plans and cases
- Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, data structures, security, and integrations
- Experience with integration testing and interface validation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business teams
