The salary range for this position is $78,000.00 - $130,000.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. The Opportunity
The Warehouse Manager plans, organizes, and monitors the receiving, storage, and distribution of all products received either from suppliers or production shop to meet internal and external customer requirements effectively and efficiently.
How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions
- Closely monitor the compliance with all safety policies and operation of equipment
- Research, recommend, and implement appropriate equipment to ensure safe transport and storage of all products.
- Effectively carry out all managerial responsibilities including consistent application of policies / procedures, talent acquisition and effective employee performance management and development.
- Provide a positive leadership example.
- Maintain quality processes and measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the completion of all required paperwork and data entry by the warehouse team.
- Coordinate scheduling and routes with drivers.
- Fulfill customer orders as needed, including all material handling.
- Work closely with accounting to resolve problems with invoices and billing.
- Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
- Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
- Monitor and measure warehouse performance and quality metrics.
- Provide reporting to management as required.
- Conduct routine maintenance on all material handling equipment.
- Adjust staffing levels to meet peak customer demand.
- Operate Forklift as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Two or more-year(s) experience as Warehouse Manager and effectively managing a team.
- High School diploma required. Some college coursework a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Transportation and Dispatch preferred.
- General fluency in English required, verbal and written.
- Basic computer literacy required, prefer knowledge of MS Office.
