Summary: The Marketing Data & Lead Coordinator is responsible for researching, managing, and maintaining contact and lead information to support marketing and business development efforts across SMS Holdings and its subsidiary companies. This role plays a critical part in identifying new market opportunities, researching RFPs across multiple vertical industries, maintaining CRM data integrity, and supporting integrated marketing initiatives that drive growth.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who enjoys research, data accuracy, collaboration, and contributing to a fast-paced, high-performing marketing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, evaluate, and track RFP opportunities across multiple vertical industries, determining alignment with established pursuit criteria and identifying exceptions when warranted.
- Research, mine, and analyze leads using traditional methods and online tools to support business development and marketing initiatives.
- Analyze sales leads and ensure accurate qualification, documentation, and distribution to appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Build, maintain, and manage prospect, customer, competitor, and account databases using Salesforce.com.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate lead, contact, and account records in Salesforce.com, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Manage and maintain customer and prospect contact records throughout the sales and marketing lifecycle.
- Define, generate, and distribute daily, weekly, and ad hoc CRM reports to support leadership reviews, status meetings, and prospect engagement discussions.
- Provide administrative, research, and operational support to the Marketing and Business Development teams.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, research conducted, and data updates.
- Support trade shows, events, and conferences by coordinating registration, logistics, materials, internal attendee details, and expense tracking.
