Compensation

- Maintaining a classroom climate which nurtures and supports for the learning environment
- Understands and uses course of study.
- Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies.
- Responds to student ideas and opinions positively.
- Shows flexibility to student needs.
- Incorporates problem solving techniques in instruction when appropriate.
- Employs instructional techniques effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education, social services, or appropriate discipline.
- Experience: One year of related experience, with a knowledge of various teaching methods. Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Licensure: Certification through the State of Washington
- Additional Skill Requirements: Successful completion CPR certification and Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression within 90 days of employment. May be required to work flexible hours.
