SmithScapes Excavation & Drainage is hiring a dependable Laborer / Small Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We specialize in drainage systems, retaining walls, grading, and light concrete work.
The ideal candidate will have experience in small equipment operation of skid steer and mini-ex. The position is available for immediate hire. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
Work Duties
- Operate small excavators and skid steers
- Assist with retaining wall construction
- Assist with concrete prep and pours
- Install French drains and basic drainage systems
- Perform general excavation and site prep
- Load/unload materials and maintain clean job sites
- Drive to and from job sites as needed

Requirements
- Experience running small excavators (required)
- Experience with retaining walls, concrete, or excavation (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Willing and able to drive to various job sites as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
