What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Recruiter position at Smith & Wilkinson?
Smith and Wilkinson is seeking an Associate Recruiter to add to our growing Financial Services practice. This is a job for an early-mid career professional to join an established team of 7 people as an Executive Recruiter.
We are an Executive Search and Talent Advisory firm. We help our clients to attract, develop, promote, and retain their best and brightest employees. Our services include Executive Search, Employee Assessment, Succession Planning, Executive Coaching, Group Leadership Development, Employee Engagement Surveys, Culture and Team Building Workshops, and related engagements.
We are looking for transferable skills, not recruiting experience. We need intelligence, interpersonal skills, inherent drive and motivation, exceptional communication skills (including professional level writing), and the courage to learn a new, complex, and ultimately rewarding industry. We're looking for 5-10 years of professional experience, part of which includes time in a client facing role of some sort, where maintaining relationships, communicating, and solving problems is a big part of the job.
This is a job for someone who likes talking to people, listening, learning, solving problems, gently persuading, writing professional correspondence, and building relationships.
We pay a competitive base salary, monthly commission, and annual bonus, with a full suite of benefits, including health insurance (85% paid for individual), 401k with safe harbor, etc. With performance, we seek to promote people every 12-24 months into roles of increasing autonomy, with commensurate earning potential.
If any of this sounds interesting, let’s chat. Send me an email, with your resume attached, and help me understand why this might be interesting and how your skills and experiences could potentially fit.
