We're looking for a versatile machinist who is equally comfortable on a Bridgeport manual mill, a lathe, and a CNC machine. In our job-shop environment, every day brings a different part and a different challenge. You'll be machining components for aerospace and defense tooling used in some of the most demanding programs in the industry.

What You'll Do
- Set up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC machine tools including Bridgeport mills, lathes, grinders, saws, boring mills, and drill presses
- Work from blueprints, sketches, process sheets, and verbal/written instructions
- Secure workpieces using appropriate fixturing and holding methods
- Monitor machine performance and adjust controls as needed to maintain quality
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) to check work
- Perform basic machine maintenance including lubrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at the end of each shift
- Proven experience operating Bridgeport-style manual mills, lathes, and grinders — required
- Ability to read and work from blueprints — required
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to operate machines independently with minimal supervision
- GD&T knowledge — required
- CNC setup and operation experience — required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment — required
- Shop math proficiency
- Preferred (not required):
- AS9100 quality system experience
- Tool/die repair skills
- Basic CNC programming knowledge
- Experience with Nylon 6 / Nylon 66 materials
