Title: Controller
Location: Hicksville, NY
Potential Compensation: $190,000 to 210,000
Requirements:
- Lead all financial operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, inventory, billing, collections, and audits.
- Oversee cost and inventory accounting in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Develop and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and corporate policies.
- Provide timely, actionable financial insights to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, with strong cost accounting expertise.
- Public accounting experience and manufacturing industry background required
- Proficiency in accounting systems like SAP/Oracle
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality under pressure.
- Ability to travel domestically monthly
- Frequent travel to KS
