Project Coordinator / Scheduler
SmartTalent is hiring for a custom architectural company in Woodinville. This is a Temp to Hire Project Coordinator / Scheduler position that offers full time hours. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in related role and with excellent computer and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for the initial setup of a project with regards to setting up and maintaining a working schedule, this would include but not limit to overseeing purchasing to ensure that all materials are purchase or ordered and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors and other third parties to ensure everything fits within the project schedule.
Pay
$26 - $28 an hour DOE
Shift
Days – Mon – Fri 6am – 230pm

Essential Functions
• Initial setup of project in Microsoft Project Planner
• Update project planner on a regular basis with new and relevant information and scheduling
• Determine if additional scheduling is required due to use of subcontractors
• Coordinate end dates with subcontractors and general contractors to ensure project schedule is met
• Communicate with other project managers/schedulers to avoid scheduling conflicts or overbooking
• Coordinate purchasing of project materials, hardware and buyout parts with the Scheduling/Purchasing assistant
• Determine installation requirements and budget for installs
• Hire and schedule install companies based on project-specific needs and availability
• Maintain shop schedule and coordinate projects with shop management to ensure the order of projects being fabricated coincides with the delivery schedule, if this cannot happen communicate with contractors throughout the entire process
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related position
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with co-workers, suppliers and contractors in an accurate and professional manner
• Ability to handle internal and external customers with tact and patience
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks
