TITLE: Maintenance Tech
LOCATION: Tukwila, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 5am – 1:30pm OR 1pm-9:30pm (must have shift flexibility)
PAY: $34

SUMMARY:
Seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facility systems in a food manufacturing environment. This position helps ensure equipment reliability, workplace safety, and efficient production operations.
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
· Maintain food production equipment, conveyors, packaging systems, and warehouse equipment
· Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety issues
· Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
· Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and preventative maintenance schedules
· Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvement projects
· Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards
· Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to support daily operations
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance workspace
REQUIREMENT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
· Previous experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or food manufacturing
· Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs independently
· Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment
· Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders
· Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
· Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment
· Must have shift flexibility
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· Food manufacturing or warehouse maintenance experience
· Welding or fabrication experience
· Forklift certification
· Experience with preventative maintenance programs
· Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
· High school diploma or GED preferred
